Hi I’m back in business!!!!! We all know I took a 6 month break from looking at my computer… well now I’m more excited than ever to be CREATIVE.

I took the last few years to get experience working in-house and in an agency setting, and now I’m ready to tackle the freelance world once again!

I’m thankful to say that I’m pretty booked for the fall, but just putting this here to tell you to keep me in mind for whatever you need designed! I’d love nothing more than to make your ideas come to life.

Simple Hospitality!!! what a GIFT it has been to work on this book for the last year and a half. it started as just a book cover, and became so much more! including the chance to know the author, Jennifer Boyd, and learn from her hospitality and kindness!

When it comes to creativity, I’m not sure that I “play” enough! Today I tried something new: makeshift, at-home print making 😛

Really not sure what i was doing and still don’t totally know what it is that i made, but I felt a LOT of freedom in the process.

Children have this ability to be brutally honest, endlessly curious, faith-filled, and optimistic. I think I was feeling that way today as I let go of having a plan or fully understanding what the next step should be.

I think when I let go of what I THINK the end product should look like, open my hands, and take a step back, I can see a little more clearly the greater plan that my Creator has in store.

Pretty cool what acrylic paint, a Triscuit box, and some newsprint can teach ya. You should try it :)
