First in the books 🙏🏾 Truly grateful to for the opportunity and platform to host a Women’s Leadership Roundtable this year. I definitely didn’t take that lightly. I’ve been around beautiful minds all week and my spirit feels full 🙏🏾
One of my favorite parts of the week honestly had nothing to do with business cards, titles, or “networking.” It was getting to see industry homies again, meet new people, and just be HUMAN for a second. In the middle of the back-to-back meetings, panels, and roundtables came some really genuine conversations:
“How are you doing?”
“Are you well?”
“How’s life—really?”
And I appreciated those moments more than people probably realize.
I also loved getting to be a student again. Learning what’s new, hearing different perspectives, catching up on what’s working for others, hearing opinions about this ever-evolving industry… it was refreshing to not always be the one giving advice all the time.
This industry moves fast, and sometimes we forget how important it is to pause long enough to actually connect with each other.
Music Biz didn’t owe me anything, so I’m thankful for every conversation, every gem, every new connection, and every seed planted this week — including the ones that still need watering wink wink because trust me… there were definitely people I still wanted to meet before the week wrapped.
