Did AI kill SEO? Short answer: no, but it did change it quite a bit.

More questions get answered right on Google now, or inside ChatGPT, without anyone clicking through. So traffic numbers mean less than they used to.

What matters more: when the AI answers "who's a good plumber near me," it names actual businesses. Being one of the named ones comes down to the same fundamentals: real reviews coming in regularly, consistent info everywhere, and a site that answers questions directly.

Open your Google Business Profile. Look at your primary category.

Is it the EXACT thing customers search for? "Plumber," not "Contractor." "Dental clinic," not "Health services."

Patio Style left us a review on Clutch this week, and one line stuck with me:
"The personal interest and care are what's made this feel so positive."

We rebuilt their website (fast enough that their review calls out the perfect PageSpeed score it launched with), tightened up their Google Ads quality scores, and handle their SEO and social. But that's the deliverables list.
