Same person. Different life. Different purpose.

The guy on the left was chasing everything I thought would make me happy, partying, drinking, women, success, acceptance, whatever could fill the void.

But it never did.

In 2006, I met Jesus, and He began changing the direction of my life.

The guy on the right isn’t perfect. He’s just living with a different purpose now. I became a husband. A father. An entrepreneur. I get to build a business, raise three boys, love my wife, serve God, and wake up genuinely grateful for the life I’ve been given.

Following Jesus didn’t mean life suddenly became easy. There have been highs, lows, failures, victories, heartbreak and healing. But through all of it, Jesus changed what I was living for.

Almost 20 years later, I can look back and say:
I thought I was living back then. I had no idea what real life could look like.

I asked AI to create an image of me sitting down and talking to my younger self.

If I could actually sit across from that little kid, I’d tell him:

You have no idea what’s coming.

There will be incredible moments, but there will also be heartbreak, loss, failures, fear, setbacks and seasons you won’t understand while you’re walking through them.

But keep going.

One day you’ll build a career doing something you love. You’ll hold cameras you never could’ve imagined existed. You’ll travel, tell stories and meet and work with people you once only saw on TV.

More importantly, you’ll find your faith. You’ll become a husband. A dad. You’ll have a family you’d do anything for. And you’ll realize that some of the things you thought would define your life weren’t nearly as important as the things God was building in you along the way.

I think that’s what makes this picture so powerful to me.

We spend so much time wondering what we would change if we could go back.

Maybe I wouldn’t change much.

Maybe I’d just sit beside that kid, smile, and tell him “Trust God. Keep dreaming. Keep going. The story is going to be bigger than you think.”

Some things are built in public. Others are built in the dark. 🎬

For the past several months, I’ve been quietly working on something that has stretched me creatively, challenged me, and reminded me why I fell in love with filmmaking in the first place.

I haven’t shared much about it. Today was another big step.

We just wrapped a meeting with Kappa Studios, an incredible post-production team whose credits include The Chosen, House of David, Reagan and many other films, documentaries and series.

And right now, they’re officially working on our trailer.

It’s pretty surreal typing that.

There have been a lot of meetings, conversations, interviews, long days, late nights and moments where I’ve wondered how all of this was going to come together.

But sometimes God gives you the vision before He gives you the roadmap.

Your job is just to keep saying yes. Keep showing up. Keep building.

There’s a much bigger story behind all of this and soon we’ll finally start telling it. Until then we’re keeping this one close.

Something is coming. And I believe it’s only the beginning.

The last one got people arguing, laughing, and trying to figure out whether it was real, so I figured I’d share another one.
