Each slide depicts the progression from my original photograph to the final digital painting featuring a white floral blossom with a bright yellow center surrounded by smaller, vibrant pink wildflowers. The background features swirling dark green textures, suggesting leaves, creating a rich color contrast.

This white flower is a member of the aster or daisy family, commonly known as the Spanish needle and black-jack plant. The pink wildflower is commonly known by many names, such as tasselflower, cupids paintbrush, and floras paintbrush, among others. Both plants are important for Florida pollinators, providing food for bees, butterflies, and more.
