19 years ago, in the days of “pink and whites”, I introduced color powders into my Liquid + Powder services. I knew camouflaging short nailbeds would be a major step up… and I was utterly terrified because I was afraid to tell people older than me that they should try something different.

Spoiler: it turned out fine! They trusted recommendations from a trained expert! 🤓

I had a new client who had nails like this (i.e., they peeled off their previous coating) so I recommended Plexigel nail enhancements to save their length.

They didn’t want to commit to nail enhancements, so I used Epic Smoothing Base to create a consistent apex across her nails.

She came back 4 weeks later with strong nails already 1/4 the way through a natural nail rehab + we didn’t have to rebalance. 🥳

Good nails are a partnership: I give my client current, science-based info so they can make an empowered, informed decision. I use current, tested tools to deliver their choice. Then they take care of their nail babies in between.

Sometimes even when they go against my top rec, it turns out pretty great!
