Axel and Boog's remarkable journey culminated in their well-deserved recognition as Grand Champion Plus heifer at Dixie National and the prestigious National Shorthorn Plus Heifer of the year!

This heifer is the youngest of our offerings but don’t let that turn your away. She has all the pieces to make a competitive show heifer and an amazing production piece! She is so angular, sound in her make,has plenty of natural shape and has a good disposition. Her mother was Champion Shorthon at Tulsa Open 2023.

As Lane Blankinship of Oklahoma looks back on his show career, he explains why he loves Shorthorns. “I am a second- generation shorthorn breeder. Shorthorns have always been a part of my life. I appreciate their natural maternal ability and calm disposition. I have also appreciated the state and national associations for the opportunities they have provided me.” Lane encourages younger members of the associate to get involved!
