Just one election I’d love to see people in solid red states and in solid blue states still vote so we could get a real feel for the voice of America by having a true popular vote count. Furthermore I wish we could have a system in which each state maintains its electoral votes BUT have the Popular Vote represent 15 or so electoral votes, or some similar system wherein we remain a democratic republic but also account for the fact that we are one nation.

Maybe each 1 Million votes = 1 electoral vote, it would motivate more Americans to be involved and force politicians to speak to and acknowledge all of America. In such a system let’s say:

Donald Trump got 100,000,000 votes
Kamala Harris got 101,000,000 votes

They would have the respective votes from each state so let’s assume Trump won acquired 300 of those it would not change the overall outcome of the national vote was close.

However let’s assume for a moment, Trump got 130M votes and Kamala got 90M but Trump only got 240 votes from the states, the popular vote would hold some weight and make him president elect, which would seem fair considering in this scenario 40 million more Americans wanted him as President.

Just my thoughts … 💭 maybe I’ll create a non-partisan movement to advance it???

Do not worry about the thoughts of each grain of sand upon the beach of life. Do not seek the admiration, acceptance, validation, support or consideration of every leaf that blows in the wind. Focus upon the towering oaks whose roots intertwine with yours, the people who are truly an active part of your journey, not the adulation of the fickle many that share but a few seconds with one tiny sliver of your existence (your post/video/clip) and take one minuscule action (like/comment/share). Do not worry about the attention of those who would not notice your absence until someone told them it was worthy of notice. Build meaningful deep relationships and do not allow your self-worth to be determined by the fleeting cacophony of voices that become silent when you are no longer entertaining them. Derive your self-worth from within and your social worth from those whom your roots intertwine with, those whom your branches grow and your leaves 🍂 share the sun with. I see too many fret and feel less than and I can only hope that one reads and understands that they are worthy, meaningful and valid even if they are not showered with glances from thousands of people killing time on social media.

My how time flies and things change.
15 years have passed since our first page was published on All Malta Online, and to this day we still had visitors reading our articles. However, as we move our focus to build GTK and GTKME, it is time to retire the site and close a chapter so that we may put all our focus and energy into Getting To Know People, celebrating individuality, self-expression and do more of what we've always done ... connect people. Farewell, All Malta Online and thank you to the millions of visitors and thousands of businesses with whom our paths crossed.

If Amazon can … then so can I: Hey, my systems are currently experiencing a temporary interruption. I’m napping to fix it. I apologize for any inconvenience and will update when awake. ||||| If Amazon can do it … then so can I 😛. That said, pretty strange for Amazon to have this long an outage on their own infrastructure - wonder if Crowdstrike struck again or if it’s Kim Ju-ae practicing as she prepares to take over North Korea from Dear Father Kim Jung Un.

Crowdstrike(not a cyberattack) explained.
You hired a security team. (One of the best).
The head of security went nuts.
Your team (computers) got shot.
Some are now dead ☠️ not cause they can’t be saved but because you’re locked out of the operating room by the head of security.
It’s not a cyberattack it’s a self-inflicted wound and it’s going to take a while to fix. The sad part? It’s also likely to create security risks due to a lower trust in crowdstrike and similar solutions that operate at the kernel level.
