Next week is a busy week at Lake of the Ozarks. We will have thousands of Bikers from all over the country visiting our beautiful place we call home. Please note the below road closure for the Bagnell Dam Strip.

Planning to visit the Bagnell Dam Strip during Bikefest? Please plan ahead. 🏍️

Traffic patterns on and around the Strip will change during the 20th Annual Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest.

𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲
The center lane on the Bagnell Dam Strip will be closed continuously from:
Tuesday, September 15 at 10:00 AM
through
Sunday, September 20 at 5:00 PM

𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀
The road will be closed to all traffic except emergency vehicles and motorcycles during these times:
• Thursday, September 17, 8:00 AM – Friday, September 18, 2:00 AM
• Friday, September 18, 8:00 AM – Saturday, September 19, 2:00 AM
• Saturday, September 19, 8:00 AM – Sunday, September 20, 2:00 AM

Please review the schedule, allow extra time, and follow all posted signs and traffic directions during Bikefest.

We want to thank the Missouri Travel Alliance for allowing us to be a part of tourism days at the Missouri State Fair and promoting the Lake of the Ozarks to visitors from all over Missouri.

On Friday we will once again be at the Missouri State Fair promoting the Lake area in the Missouri Division of Tourism booth. If you happen to be at the fair swing by the Ag Building and come see us.

It is with incredible sadness to share the news that our friend Bob Schwartz passed away. Bob was a tourism enthusiast and loved all of us here at the CVB. Bob was active around the Lake Area in many ways over the years but most recently you would see him promoting Hot Summer Nights and working at Leatherman. We joked we should give him an honorary office because he was here so much. We are grateful we were able to honor him with the Partner in Tourism Award a couple years ago for all of his work in the Lake Area.

There will be a visitation on August 15th from 4-6pm at Hedges Funeral Home in Osage Beach.
