When people would come into my pastor study and would voice how they were discouraged and felt alone in life, I would often ask, "who are your people?" "Are you in a small group?" "Who really knows you?"
Why?
Because no one was called to do life alone – we're called to live in community and relationships. I mean, shoot, the wisest man to ever live once said:
"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up...
But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up."
I am beyond thankful for the people inside of Web Designer Pro with Josh Hall. In my last 3 years, my tiny business has ballooned into a company that not only supports my family completely, but also supports other families, too. In this community, I thought I would find a coach and mentor, but I am thankful to say that I found a friend (who also is my coach) and I've found my people.
So, if you're feeling alone in your journey, it's time to find your people. Because it is true – you become most like those whom you surround yourself.
