River search continues
A fishing boat with three people on board capsized Sunday evening after apparently hitting a barge south of the Sans Souci Landing near Osceola.
Three people were on the boat at the time. County officials say one woman was rescued by TMS employees.
One man was later pulled from the waters and pronounced dead on the scene.
A search has continued throughout the day for the third victim.
Officials with Osceola Fire Department, the Mississippi County Sheriff's Office, Blytheville Rescue Squad, U.S. Coast Guard, Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, Tennessee Game and Fish Commission, and the Tipton County Fire and Rescue have assisted.

Rescue units respond to Miss. River
The Osceola Fire Department rescue team has responded to a capsized boat on the Mississippi River near Sans Souci Landing.
According to Fire Chief Peter Hill it is believed five persons were submerged under a barge. Two had been pulled from the water as of a few minutes ago.
The Mississippi County Rescue Unit has also responded.

Col. Mike Hagar, "We will not comment on specific incidents involving use of force with active criminal and civil cases pending. Any use of force by an ASP Trooper is a regrettable last resort and reviewed carefully.

Troopers operate in an environment where anxiety and uncertainty are extreme. They accept that as part of the job they chose. They deserve to have their actions evaluated based on the complete circumstances they faced. Not solely on the most dramatic moments of the encounter.

All uses of force are driven by two common denominators — unlawful activity and noncompliance. Take those two factors out of the equation, and there will be no incidents for us to explain or debate."
