I had the opportunity to help market this year’s Balsam Lake W**e Walk again for the Balsam Lake Chamber, including designing the flyers and promotional materials leading up to the event.

Then I got to put the laptop away and actually enjoy it! 😎🍷

The event SOLD OUT, downtown Balsam Lake was packed, and it was so fun seeing something I helped promote come to life. There’s something pretty cool about creating the marketing for a local event and then standing in the middle of it watching the community show up.

Definitely one of the perks of what I get to do! ❤️

They don’t know much about marketing, but they’re excellent at supervising, taking up my entire chair, and making sure productivity stays at an all-time low.

Just another day at Meraki Marketing Group—emails, graphics, content planning… and apparently a two-cat approval process before anything gets posted. 💻✨

Nine years ago, I took a leap and started Meraki Marketing Group—and somehow, here we are! What started as a passion for creativity has grown into a business I absolutely love, helping amazing businesses tell their stories through social media marketing and graphic design. 💻

And honestly? My clients are the absolute BEST. I’m so lucky to get to work with people who trust me with their brands, ideas, and big dreams. ❤️

Of course, I couldn’t do it all alone. Meet Freida 🐾—my foster-fail-turned-full-time-work-sidekick. She’s excellent at keeping me company, supervising projects, and occasionally reminding me that staring at a laptop all day is no substitute for a walk outside.
