Running a business means showing up for people — and I want to take a moment to be open with all of my incredible clients and supporters about what life looks like behind the scenes right now. ❤️

A couple of weeks ago, I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. Since then, life has become a whirlwind of doctor appointments, testing, treatment planning, and multiple trips to the Cities each week as I prepare to start chemotherapy on June 11th.

Through all of this, one thing hasn’t changed — my commitment to my clients and to Meraki Marketing Group. 💻✨

I fully plan to continue working throughout treatment. There may be days where response times are a little slower, schedules shift slightly, or I need a little extra grace as I balance business and battling cancer at the same time.

I appreciate your patience, your understanding, and your support more than you know.

Meraki means putting a piece of yourself into your work — your soul, creativity, and love — and that’s exactly what I’ll continue doing every day, even on the hard days.

I’m staying positive, staying hopeful, and taking this one appointment, one treatment, and one day at a time. ❤️

And yes… there’s a decent chance I may end up bald during this adventure, but if that happens, I’m fully planning to have some fun with wigs and keep showing up anyway. 😉

I got to tour The Croix Studio today during the No Name Networking meeting. It’s a great space to rent for photographers and creators. I’m excited to see how my headshot turned out!

It’s time to find the best people, places and things in the Amery Area.
Nominations open April 29 for the seventh annual Reader’s Choice best of the Amery Area. Nominations will be accepted Wednesday, April 29 at 9 a.m. through Sunday, May 17 at 5 p.m. People may nominate their favorites once every 24 hours. People, places and things with the largest number of nominations will make the ballot.
Several new categories have been added to the ballot. Some others have been clarified.
To help us make sure the ballot is correct, please give us as much information as possible when making nominations. Please include the full names and addresses of the nominees.
To make the final ballot, we need at least three entries in each category.
Once the ballot is finalized, voting for the winners begins July 8 at 9 a.m.

I had such a great time at the No Name Networking meeting this morning! ☕️

It was fun helping plan this one alongside Jenny from Brick & Banister—everything came together perfectly and it was awesome seeing so many connections being made. Networking Bingo was a hit too! (Naturally I brought the Bloody Mary Basket as a giveaway). 🍹
