This year has been one of growth in more ways than one.

By this time next year, there will be a tiny human crawling around our home, touching everything they’re not supposed to, and running a very tight schedule we did not approve.

We’re happy to be closing out this year with full hearts, lowered expectations for a tidy home, and plans to baby-proof things we didn’t even know existed.

Five weeks ago Erin had the best idea to sign us up for ballroom dance classes. Today we are proud to announce we have moved up from “Beginner” level to “Bronze” level 🥉🙌 . To celebrate our accomplishment and give us something to aspire to, the teachers at made this hilarious photoshopped cover for our “curriculum”. 😂 We’re learning so much and having so much fun together. I definitely look forward to busting some of these new moves on the dance floor. See you out there friends.

Had an at the Windy City Series game this weekend. I was outnumbered with most of the fam being Sox fans… but I stayed truthful to my by wearing the team’s colors. Such a rush… they got to the 9th inning it was 4-4 and they had to go an extra inning to define the winner. Cubs lost 😞 but relationships were not shattered. 😂 Looking forward to more moments like these.
