In fact my biggest client only does TikTok ads right now. No organic

Tiktok growth academy 1️⃣

Wanting to get on Tiktok, but don’t know where to start?🤔

It can be very frustrating when nothing works!

You might have been stuck under 200 views…

And don’t get any followers😤

💡It’s most likely because you’re treating it like LinkedIn

Here are two major tips that will save you a lot of time (and nerves) trying to grow📈

✅ Use greenscreen effects 🖼

This might sound basic, but especially for b2b greenscreens make things much more visual and interesting.

I prefer the big background one or the rectangle one you can adjust 😊

Video or image both work!

You can find the greenscreen effects at the bottom left corner under effects when recording.

Go through all the options. Some are Video only others image 🎥 📷

You now can simply upload an image from your gallery bar! 📸

✅ Keep your videos short and dense

Eliminate all fluff! ☁️

Keep short videos with trending sounds between 7-15 seconds ⏰

Education videos around 20-35 seconds.

Going above that can work, but it makes it harder since TikTok’s algorithm depends on % of people who watched the full video.

💡If you do go longer make it super engaging (topic for another day)💡

You want to make $100k in 2022?

Selling your product online 💻

Most say it’s impossible… I say it’s not! 🔥

All you gotta do is make $273.97 every single day of the year!

Especially with digital products you won’t need a crazy number of employees since there’a no shipping 🛳

💡 Now you might not be a mega influencer on any platform, but have a decent following 💡

Let’s say 5k maybe 15k on linkedin 🤔

So you could probably make (wild guess here) $30k by promoting it? $50k? 💰

Granted you already have an established following 🧐

Now you can wait to scale 5 years or try to accelerate the process😤

Reinvest every single cent into improving and advertising your product…

Get that word of mouth going, invest some money into advertising on other platforms to get more sales!

And as long as you stay profitable with your ads you can scale more and more 📈

Your organic and advertising together are like rocket fuel ⛽️ 🚀

Now does it sound unrealistic still?

Start dreaming bigger! 🛌 💭

Here’s what I’ve learned the past months from creating

🔥Holding 10+ webinars

🔥Creating two more freebies (one 20 pages long)

And how it can help you 😊

✅ Don’t create something unless you already have interest in it. Promote first, then create.

✅ It’s better to get it to somebody to proof read as fast as possible.
Feedback is going to save you tons of time instead of perfecting.

✅ If I did it again I’d probably perfect an ebook and another freebie first, before creating more.

✅ Even if you know how to make a high converting webinar, practice is still more than 50% of the deal.

✅ Starting is the hardest part. It gets easier each time.

✅ Ask people who successfully created eBooks or hold great webinars etc. It saves so much time for you.

Value posts and giving value away with free content is useless😱

They just won’t get you any clients.

This is what this Facebook ad states and as a paid Ads nerd I had to break it down!🤓

Let’s see if I agree with them…

The first two lines already blow your mind and catch your attention.

✅ Everybody in business knows (or believes) providing value is the way to go on social.

It definitely had me read the rest of the ad, so great job on that!

🥗 After, the ad follows with a nice salad to lure you into the five star meal

Activate the taste buds 😋

And boom! You get hit with the tasty cake 🎂

Nice job of mentioning the problem and then further painting it.

Everybody does value posts and it only works for $50 courses….

Now that makes us a little worried doesn’t it?😅

I don’t know about you, but I like selling things.

You know they did something super smart right?

Mentioning it won’t work for high ticket clients ensures the advertisers will only get high ticket clients themselves!

Genius! 🧠

And they keep painting the pain point further.

Everything why value content makes sense on an emotional and logical level.

Now at this point I want to apologize. Not too interesting this post huh? 😐

Cause the ad is actually good 👍🏻

Only thing I’d criticize is the copy is actually not about cold calls and Ads 🧐

So to summarize if you write an ad, this is a good one to model after 😊

And I definitely disagree with the ad. Value content is great ( I still clicked the link tho).

I hate to say this, but for your good I have to😐

If you see this you’re spending time in the wrong platform.

You might be making a huge mistake.

Facebooks organic reach is dead 💀

Besides connecting with people you networked with nothing will happen here.

97% of Facebook views are from paid ads😱

And while you’re still posting here your competition is on Tiktok and LinkedIn growing thousands over night😕

The speech you’re giving?

600 people could attend within the next 7 days if you made that post on a different platform👀

You’re playing a losing game.

I’m not saying that to expose you, but to open your eyes to the game.

Don’t believe me?

I’ve gotten 2 brand deals and one client from TikTok this past week.

My LinkedIn has gotten me bunch of client offers before and a network I can rely on.

I’m not bragging, but showing you how easy it can be.

If nothing else start posting your Facebook Content on LinkedIn.

Because right now you’re trying to run through a wall instead of just using the door! 🚪 🏃🏼

Social proof might cost you half your business😱

Crazy right?

No, I’m not talking about just using some testimonials

BUT you might be using yours wrong.

Did you know a simple screenshot of a message or other testimonial can get you twice as many sales as a written testimonial?

You know, the ones anybody can just fake on their website?

And changing that doubles your sales!

Crazy right?

Below you see an example of what I mean when mentioning screenshot testimonials.

LinkedIn ones do very well for higher paid services.

This lady wasn’t getting a single sale until she changed one thing!

This shows, the greatest marketers often times have no idea what marketing is😅

Let’s look into it.🤓

Us marketers often overthink, make everything data driven.

And then there’s this lady who wasn’t getting any sales with her self made corsets.🧐

Her name on TikTok is LoveBeat (check it out).

What did she do to fix it?

She started having her parents and especially her dad model for her😱

An older gentlemen wearing corsets. Can you imagine 😂

It blew up and she’s getting massive sales since.

Many of us here would have tried different things that are considered best marketing advice and failed miserably!

So let’s make marketing more human sometimes and think less with our brains.

A lot of small business owners email campaigns never reach the primary inbox of their customers!😱

Not because of the spam folder, but something you might not be aware off.

Out of the last 4 small business owners I talked to it happened to 3 of them!

Their emails ended up in the promotion folder 😱

And let’s be honest, we barely check it…
So try to get into the primary inbox. How?

✅ Use plain text templates and not those fancy html ones. You can still add pictures

❌ don’t add 10 images just to make it look more colorful etc. Your copy itself should be interesting to people. Only add when valuable m.

✅ Ask new subscribers to set a “primary inbox filter” in your welcome email

❌ Don’t send 10 different links. More links = more likely to be promotional

✅ personalize email to make it sound less promotional

❌ avoid certain words, according to gmail these make you more likely to go into the promotional folder (example: 50% off! Click link now)

Check your emails for all these to get the most money out of your marketing.
