Let's talk expectations, ok?👌🏼
When you think about ROI you might think sales revenue 📈 but it's important to know that a Social Media Manager is NOT responsible for generating sales. 🚫
What they CAN do, through an effective strategy, is help generate leads and guide them through your sales funnel (ex: your website). 💁🏻‍♀️
In this example, once the leads leave the social media platform to visit your website, it is then up to the website to do the rest. Make sense?
Having analytics tied to your website is important so you can monitor conversions and see where visitors might be backing out of your website.
Then we can ask questions like: Is the website hard to navigate? Is it mobile friendly? Is the shopping cart broken/not allowing people to check out? Etc. Etc.
