I want to thank VGCC for recognizing The Blast. It was quite an honor.

Our team had the pleasure of assisting Faicia Elliott, a local entrepreneur, as she worked to transition her business structure and establish a nonprofit organization to support the future growth of her newspaper business.

Her publication, The Blast, is an 8-page family booklet featuring crafts, recipes, games, local events, and other family-friendly activities designed to encourage quality time together away from electronic devices. The publication is distributed through community partners and advertisers who help support its mission and outreach.

You can find the latest edition of The Blast at dozens of locations across Granville, Vance and Person counties in NC, and even in Clarksville, VA.

Working with Ms. Elliott throughout the process of organizing and preparing the required documentation for her 501(c)(3) filing was a truly gratifying experience. We were especially proud to celebrate alongside her when she received confirmation that her paperwork had been approved.

Supporting entrepreneurs and community leaders who create positive, family-focused resources for their communities is what makes our work so rewarding. 📰💼

Oxford is lighting up for the holidays!

We have lift off! Fun activities for family on Main St starts 5 p.m and join Visit Downtown Oxford, NC for Lighting of the Greens on Friday, December 19 at 6:30 p.m followed by the Oxford Christmas Parade starting at 7 p.m featuring festive floats, dance teams, Santa, and live music filling downtown with holiday cheer. 🎄✨

Bring your family, bundle up, and enjoy a night of community celebration and holiday magic!
