The 20th Annual NC Hot Sauce Contest & Festival is almost here! As we prepare to welcome thousands of visitors to Downtown Oxford, please be aware of upcoming road closures within the festival footprint.

🚨 ROAD CLOSURES BEGIN FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 11 AT 9:00 AM

Roads will begin closing at 9:00 AM Friday to allow our event team to safely complete stage setup, vendor load-in, food truck placement, and other festival preparations.

📍 Closures will include portions of:
• Main Street
• Williamsboro Street
• Hillsboro Street
• Littlejohn Street
• Gilliam Street
• College Street
• McClanahan Street (one-way access until the festival begins)
• Wall Street
• Bank Street
• Court Street
• Watkins Street

🚗 Please plan ahead! Motorists should expect detours, limited vehicle access, and increased pedestrian traffic throughout Downtown Oxford during the festival.

After much thought, I’ve made the difficult (and exciting) decision to close the brick-and-mortar location of Wilkinson Creative Co. over the next couple of months. 💜

This shop has been so much more than a storefront. It has held so much creativity, growth and connection, and I’m deeply grateful to every client, customer and friend who has supported it. As I navigate some significant changes in my personal life, I’ve spent a great deal of time reflecting on my goals, my happiness and what I want the next chapter of life to look like.

While this chapter is coming to a close, Wilkinson Creative Co. is not going away. This is a pivot — a chance to simplify, refocus, and continue doing the parts of this business that I love most.

I’ll be moving my printing and design work into my home studio, where I’ll continue serving my existing clients and welcoming new invitation clients. I’m looking forward to creating in a space that allows me to be a little more flexible and intentional about the work I take on.

Over the coming weeks, I’ll also be sharing some specialty equipment, studio furnishings and rental inventory that will be available for purchase, so keep an eye out for those announcements!

There are definitely a lot of emotions that come with closing a physical space — but mostly, I’m feeling grateful. Grateful for what this business has taught me, for the people it has brought into my life, and for the opportunity to take Wilkinson Creative Co. into its next season.

Thank you, truly, to everyone who has been part of this journey with me. I hope you’ll continue to follow along and support me as I make this transition. The address may be changing, but the creativity, the printing, the invitations, the girl boss and the heart behind Wilkinson Creative Co. are staying. 🫶🏼
