Every Monday, food comes into our community through the Chester County Food Bank and makes its way to organizations serving our neighbors, including Oxford SILO, Oxford Area Neighborhood Services Center (NSC), and Oxford Area Senior Center.

It might not be the flashiest volunteer opportunity, there aren’t necessarily cameras or big events. Sometimes it’s just moving food.

But that food matters!!!🥫

Because when someone is hungry, it’s hard to focus on anything else. I’m grateful we have organizations here in Oxford doing this work every week and I’m grateful for the people who show up to help.

There’s no “right” reason to start volunteering.

Some people see a need and step up. Some need hours. Some were simply brought along by a friend. But once you start giving back, something happens. You find things you care about, meet new people, and realize you’re part of your community.

If you’ve ever thought about volunteering, just start. You never know where it’s going to take you ❤️

Someone had furniture to give. YoungMoms Community had families who needed it.

The missing piece was just someone willing to move them 🛋️

Between a tight staircase, a massive mirror, and a sofa that put up a serious fight, Jesus and I got it delivered 😎

The furniture was free, the delivery was volunteered. But that’s what volunteering is at its core: seeing a need, showing up, and getting it done.

Rain or shine, Oxford showed up 🌧️❤️

First Friday may have started with a storm, but once the rain let up, the tractors rolled through, businesses opened their doors, families came out, and the community kept the night going 🚜

This is one of the things I love most about Oxford, people care about their community, and they show up for it.

That’s Oxford ❤️

There is nothing quite like seeing a community come together 🤝💛

During Week of Caring 2026, over 120 volunteers partnered with 15 nonprofits to complete 29 projects throughout Southern Chester County.

This video highlights just a few moments from an incredible week from creating birthday kits with Constellation for KACS to packing food bags with Oxford SILO. The impact reached far beyond these projects as neighbors, nonprofits, and businesses came together to serve.

Thank you to every volunteer, organization, and partner who made this week possible.
