I know what you are thinking, I want to get my product/service in front of everyone. Well, the truth is not everyone wants your service or even realizes they need it. And it’s a very hard sell if you are trying to give your product/service to folks who don’t even understand the value.
I remember when I had my first client and I was super excited because I thought I was going to change the world, right? Nope, wrong! LOL
The problem was the way I started with this client. I basically told her what she needed and convinced her to sign onto my subscription service. The whole time, what she really needed was a graphic designer, that I was not. You can imagine how well that turned out.
The lesson was I needed to create a space to allow my clients to tell me what their needs and priorities were and then present a guide on how to get them there. In a nutshell, that’s how The Social Suite was born.
And I will tell you this, it definitely made things a lot easier.
