GUILTY VERDICT REACHED IN CHILD SOLICITATION CASE

The State Attorney’s Office announces that a Palm Beach County jury has found a man guilty in a 2023 child s*x crimes case.

Tyler A. Mell, 35, was convicted of soliciting a child for unlawful s*xual conduct using computer services or devices, and transmitting material harmful to a minor. The jury deliberated for less than an hour on Tuesday.

A sentencing hearing is scheduled on July 28.

Assistant State Attorneys Marissa Chiarolanzio and Logan Edwards prosecuted the case.

We extend our thanks to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office detective who investigated this case.
