The Gardens announced Margie Betten, Holly Cardinale, Lauren Kenny, Benjamin Macfarland and Gina Sabean have joined its Board of Trustees. These incredible individuals will help lead the Gardens’ mission to enrich lives with nature, art and history. 🌴 🌺 🖼️ 🎨 🦋

It’s back to the books for the upcoming school year! 📚 But before that, the Palm Beach County Food Bank is making sure students aren’t returning to an empty pantry. The PBCFB is returning with its “One Can, Two Can, Who Can? You Can!”

Back-to-School Food Drive and calling for protein-rich donations. As Palm Beach County operates the 10th largest school district in the U.S., the Food Bank and over 20 local partners will gather nonperishable foods to help students experiencing hunger. The most wanted items include canned beans, fish, chicken, beef, peanut butter, vegetables and fruit.

Everyone deserves access to information. 💻Computers are an invaluable resource in 2023, and an expensive one at that. That's why Gulfstream Goodwill Industries partnered with Many Homes Freedom Project Corp. to distribute free 10 inch tablet computers across its various facilities, including homeless shelters, Adult Day Training centers and Career Academy charter school for persons with intellectual disabilities, all 26 retail stores and for staff at their distribution centers in Fort Pierce and Lake Worth.

Olé! 💃The sophisticated ambiance of Spain was brought to life for the Center for Creative Education's (CCE) “A Night in Madrid” at Club Colette. Event chairmen Milly and Patrick Park presented a festive Spanish atmosphere for the occasion of honoring Susan and Dom Telesco's significant commitment to funding the Center’s new campus in West Palm Beach. Dan Ponton created a world-class Michelin menu. A Call to the Heart prompted guests to help CCE complete what the Telescos started as they move forward with the second phase of the Center’s $20 million capital campaign.

A Call to the Heart prompted guests to help CCE complete phase two of their campaign – an Arts and Sciences building named for the Telescos. It will include a 200-seat theater, an art gallery and art studios, STEM labs, and more. This building will serve as a community hub providing access to the arts and sciences for people of all ages.

Thanks to a generous gift from The William H. Pitt Foundation earlier this year, CCE will continue to expand its new campus and serve even more students attending its signature programming at The Foundations School. Under the direction of longtime CCE supporter Pauline Pitt, the board of the Pitt Foundation gifted CCE with a $1 million investment to support both capital construction as well as program scholarships for local students.
