Important Holiday Dates For UPS and Fed Ex Customers

UPS
UPS is closed on the following four days: 11/26, 12/25, 12/31, 1/1
Between 11/23 and 12/30 some ground packages will require an extra day in transit
All 2nd Day and 3 Day packages shipped on 12/21 will be delivered 1224
12/24 and 12/31 are transit days only for express shipments
Express guaranteed delivery time is extended by 90 minutes on 11/27, 12/18 thru 12/24, and on 12/31
The refund guarantee is suspended for ground packages tendered or delivered between 12/11 and 12/24

FedEx
FedEx is closed on the following three days: 11/26, 12/25, 1/1
There will be no movement of ground packages on 11/27 and 12/26 and 1/2
Express guarantee times are extended by 90 minutes on 11/25 and the 7 calendar days before Christmas
The refund guarantee is suspended for ground packages tendered between 12/11 and 12/24

UPS has announced the suspension dates for service guarantees:
Peak-season service guarantees:
The guarantee is suspended for UPS Ground and UPS Standard packages picked up or scheduled for delivery between Dec. 11 and Dec. 24.

Commitment times for air and international shipments delivered within the United States will be extended by 90 minutes on the following days: Dec. 18-24, and Dec. 31.

UPS has agreed to pay $25 million to settle allegations that it submitted false claims to the U.S. government regarding its delivery of Next Day Air overnight packages.
