Tired of produce that looks great but tastes like nothing? 🍅

The Palm Springs Certified Farmers’ Market has moved indoors for the summer, and the air-conditioned Palm Springs Pavilion is now home to growers, bakers, makers, and small businesses from across Southern California.

From farm-fresh produce and artisan breads to handmade goods and specialty foods, it’s a Saturday morning tradition that’s about more than shopping—it’s about supporting the people behind the products.

Hundreds of Coachella residents packed City Hall and waited for hours to make their voices heard.

After months of community organizing, the City Council unanimously approved a 45-day moratorium on data center development, ended its agreement with Stronghold Power Systems, and took the first steps toward a potential permanent ban on future data centers.

This is the story of a community that came together—and proved that local voices still matter.

Staff picks at Farm! 🌴🍳

We teamed up with Brianna and Carlos to find out what the team at .palmsprings actually orders when they come in for brunch. From duck omelets to smoked salmon Benedicts and the French toast that got two votes, these are the dishes the staff swear by.

Hundreds of residents packed Coachella City Hall Tuesday night as the debate over a proposed technology campus and data center project reached a boiling point.

For more than four hours, community members voiced concerns about water usage, electrical demand, environmental impacts, transparency, and the city’s agreement with Stronghold Power Systems. Council members acknowledged they had not heard from a single resident speaking in favor of the project.

As tensions rose, Stronghold representatives addressed the council, prompting strong reactions from residents both inside the chambers and among the hundreds gathered outside. Sheriff’s deputies were eventually called in as emotions escalated and company executives were escorted from the building.

Despite the intensity of the evening, residents achieved a significant outcome. By the end of the meeting, city leaders appeared united in recognizing the community’s concerns, and Mayor Pro Tem Denise Delgado called for a moratorium on new or expanded data center approvals while the city studies potential impacts.

Whether you support or oppose the project, this meeting was a reminder that local government decisions can have a lasting impact on the future of a community—and that public participation matters.

Forget flowers… this is the kind of bouquet we actually want. 🌹😂

At Mucho Churro in VillageFest, best friends Dylan and Gabriel are serving fresh churros made right in front of you every Thursday night in downtown Palm Springs. Crispy on the outside, soft in the center, and coated in cinnamon sugar while they’re still hot… these things disappear FAST.

And yes, they smell just as dangerous as they look.
