In 1970 my dad was knocking on doors at various record companies, trying to sell a new promotional item called window prints, they were cool transparencies. Everyone liked them but they were all looking for tshirts and wanted to know if he could do them. i can do tshirts" and was able to get his first order for 300 tshirts for Bobby Blue Band from ABC/Dunhill Records. With only 10 days to deliver,

and not knowing anything about printing tshirts, My dad was up for the challenge and managed to deliver the job 2 days early. Over 17 million tshirts, and 40+ years later were still going strong!
