Designer and creative entrepreneur, I work and live in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. After attaining my degree in Visual Communications with a concentration in graphic design, I catapulted back home and within a month of graduating design school had my very first design job. I am a full time in-house designer for a non-profit organization that helps children in poverty. Then I come home and

pursue my freelance career, working with people much like you and creatively communicate their message to the world. I specialize in the design of print materials, website/blog design, and the design and development of company brands. I simply love what I do. Why “finicky?” I'm particular about all of the details that go into turning your vision into a design that's perfect for you and your business. I won’t settle until I think it’s perfect, and you’re completely happy. It’s a positive thing, I promise. On a more personal note, I’m married to my personal accountant, have two crazy dogs that I tend to obsess over, and am an aspiring photographer (with both digital and film), an admirer of color, and a lover of God. Summertime is my favorite, I'm a sucker for mac n' cheese, french toast, pantone colors, and foxes, and I choose coffee over tea.

Heather was seeking a brand design that fully captured the diversity and wholeness of her offerings. The icon is in a subtle shape of a brain to imply the mind, development, and behavior - the psychology aspect of her brand. Roots imply the foundation and deep rootedness in development and nourishment, the flower showing the growth and blooming/thriving of the child.

Warm, inviting, natural, peaceful, and encouraging... it was a joy to help my friend and business partner (of many years!) with a brand design for her calling born out of a deep love and care for mothers and their children.

Woven Moon is a sanctuary for women who are called to walk the threshold spaces of birth, life, and death with remembrance and remembering. Blyss of has leveraged the light and dark woven throughout her life to help women navigate their own journey.

"We are never one thing forever. We move, change, and cycle. We become more whole through the weaving."

Blyss wanted a brand design that communicated the deep nature of her work, the interconnected weaving of the different phases of life that we face. Soft and rooted, sacred and warm, feminine and connected.

Merry Christmas, from our family to yours! I'm so thankful for all of the wonderful people I've met this year, and their businesses I've had the pleasure of helping. I get to create meaningful designs that match the heart and vision of your business, raise my children at home, AND tend to a bison ranch alongside my husband. Life is such an adventure, and I'm grateful to God for it!

Introducing the brand of .parenting where Chaya ensures that parenthood stays in the hands of those it belongs to, mother and father, equipping them to step into their roles with confidence, reverence, and strength.

While the face of Earthbound Parenting is new, Chaya is not new to the world of traditional birthing or being a guiding light to those seeking to walk against the grain with their families. Through what was previously known as Momtana, Chaya has served her clients in education and birth assistance, her exclusive membership program for those wanting to connect with other like-hearted families, and sharing her wisdom with her husband Zev on their successful podcast.

Chaya worked closely with Beth from to align her business with her life and develop a brand that adequately captures who she is and how she helps the families she works with. As always, it was an honor for me to step in after all of the intricate, foundational brand work and give her an identity system that communicates her business well.

Chaya started with a logo icon that still worked for her brand (mother in the bearskin with baby) but needed to be built further to encompass her offerings for fathers and families (not just mothers).

The brand aesthetic needed to reflect legacy, wisdom, guiding light, and feel rich, grounded, and nature-inspired. We achieved that with her full logo suite, matching brand elements, color palette and fonts, print materials, merch design, and website design (I set the visual path for the site design and worked on several pages in partnership with Chaya).

Merry Christmas from Texas! We wish you and your family hope, joy, and peace during this Christmas season, no matter where it finds you in life. Jesus is our hope, and for that reason we celebrate, even when it's hard.

A few years ago, I got to design a logo and brand system for a space-themed campground, ☄️At the time is was just a vision, but this week we got to stay at their new campground and see the brand in action!

Observer Ranch is a family-friendly campground in Penrose, Colorado with a stunning view of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range. They have a unique learning center and library focused on nature and space! The kids enjoyed running around the place as little astronauts, playing with all of the fun things, and building and launching rockets!

We decided to center the logo around the sun ☀️ which was fitting given how their space weather news revolves around the sun. A watercolor style was perfect for combining the array of galaxy colors behind the sun. 💫

We so enjoyed our time at Observer Ranch, and can't wait to visit again soon! But now it's time we blast off to Texas 🚀

I originally helped Lynn in 2018 with her brand and portfolio website. While she still loved her brand, she knew we needed to expand her web presence. (Side note: this is how every business should start – professional presence, website that gets the job done, but invest later when you're ready to take things to the next level.)

Initially when we worked on her website, the goal was to display her beautiful work through a creative, simple portfolio-style site. Years later, Lynn was ready for a full site design that not only displayed her portfolio, but connected her to ideal clients, told her story, and explained her session experiences to resonate with moms in Austin.

The design needed to feel as timeless, modern, and beautiful as her photographs without outshining her work. The website design needed to compliment and highlight her photos. Remember that the best design puts emphasis on the client's work and their brand story — the design is essentially invisible and only helps communicate their message. This is especially true for photographers and creatives who shouldn't have an overpowering site design.

Photographers, especially ones as talented and with such a clear vision as Lynn, make my work easy. Lynn wanted a site that felt like an art gallery with the emotion and stories of her photographers leading the site's design. We used her original brand design and colors because, as I advertise, the brand design should last you year after year in your business. It was still just as effective as in 2018.

I'm so grateful Lynn trusted me with her website (again)!
