Hurricane season used to mean tracking storms… now it also means trying to figure out what’s REAL online.

As a designer, I love what AI can do creatively, but I’m honestly not looking forward to the flood of fake AI-generated hurricane photos, fake rescues, and disaster “news” spreading across social media this season.

During recent storms, emergency teams had to waste valuable time fighting viral misinformation instead of focusing fully on helping people. That’s dangerous.
