Let’s talk facts.
They aren’t always easy to hear, but they represent a sobering reality in our community that is far too easy to overlook.
In 2025, the Center for Hope & Safety (CHS), a cause incredibly near and dear to our hearts, assisted 1,556 victims and handled 5,138 confidential hotline calls. Their Safe House provided critical emergency shelter to 93 adults and 47 children, with an average stay of 92 days. This vital work is done under a heavy shadow: roughly 90% of homicides in Bergen County are related to domestic violence.
While the annual CHS Golf Outing is an incredible day of fun, partnership, and celebration, it is deeply rooted in a purpose that is much more heartfelt.
This year, the continuing momentum we’ve built together showed; thanks to the wonderful believers in this cause and the incredible partners & suppliers who stepped up, we more than doubled the size of the field!
The day held even deeper meaning for our team as our founder and champion of LG&P's CHS relationship, David Lloyd, was honored with a recognition award. Seeing David recognized was a heartfelt reminder of what it looks like to live your virtues.
Thank you to everyone who came, who contributed, or who simply helps create vital awareness by acknowledging this post.
