Muscle Car Jr Inc Vintage ad of the day , 1968 Dodge Charger R/T . I love the Dodge s**t pack ads of 1968. The 68 R/T came standard with the big 440 Magnum. A great Street & Strip engine that always seemed to keep its tune. They were big in my neck of the woods & tough to beat on the street .

Muscle Car Jr Inc Vintage ad of the day. Yes there was a Rapid Transit System in 1972! The HEMI was gone but you could still get the 440 in the RR & the 340 was still available in the Cuda & Duster. Insurance killed the Supercar, but Mother MOPAR was still carrying the flame for a while little did we know OPEC gas shortage was coming & the final nail was put in the coffin. The new NET HP ratings were now being used so don't let that fool you , there were still some Hot performers on the road. The Euro cars were using Net much longer most of the time & the 280 HP 440 was till about 350 or so gross.
