Country Roads Lavender & Herb Farm

After 1.5 years of physical therapy (and still going), I am back out in the fields again. So far, I have weeded and mulched the elderberry bushes and put in the veggie garden and cleaned up the flower bed.

Next up are the lavender and herb beds. I am astonished at how much is still going stronger with 1.5 years of neglect.

I don’t plan to do any vendor shows this year again but I will have a farm stand to sell the lavender and herbs, etc over the next few months.

The farm has been quiet since July and we have not been present at any of the markets. In July, during a storm, a tree broke (a live branch) and hit Shauna, breaking her back in two places (she was feeding the chickens when a storm blew in). She also had broken ribs and some facial fractures. She is recovering well but recovery will be long. Hopefully, next spring, the farm will be active again.

We plan to do a Facebook live to get product out for this year as Shauna had made product for the markets this year. Please watch this page or her personal page for that sale to take place. Everything will be reduced and there will be free product as well simply to get it out.

Thank you for your support and prayers during this time. Also, the chickens are all okay!!

Painting cards at the Freedom Festival in Vienna, WV. Come on over! The weather has finally cooled and the bands are playing. There’s food and a drone light show later.

We are up and ready!!! Come on over and see all the goodies. There are food trucks everywhere and about every type of sellable item you can possibly imagine. Mother’s Day is coming up!!!

Getting prepared for the Minted Vintage in April. Found these amazing metal containers for cute candles. Have some fire starters made and some lavender farm soap made. Soon it will be harvest time so I will have bundles of lavender and whatever else I decide to make this year!!
