Making a CALL TO ACITON: think as your customer, use the “I want to” principle (put it in front of your action). Ex: “Take Better Photographs” is more compelling than “Photography Tips” or “Write Engaging Marketing Emails” versus “Email Marketing Guide.”

Too obvious: Before sending anything to print ALWAYS make a hard proof so you can make sure all is well: font sizing, layout, etc. Looking at a true-size physical copy brings out clarity issue not seen on our zoom-able well-lit digital screens.

Not sure about messaging, colors, images…A/B test. Put the decision in the hands of the customer. A/B testing sends the different options to small different segments to reveal the best performer you can then send to the remaining list.
