🌿 2026 Hop Research Council Summer Meeting

The Idaho Hop Growers Commission was proud to join growers, researchers, brewers, and industry partners in Bonners Ferry for the 2026 Hop Research Council Summer Meeting!

The meeting brought together some of the best minds in hops for research updates, hop studies, industry conversations, and plenty of opportunities to connect. 🍻🌱

A highlight of the meeting was our visit to Elk Mountain Farms, where Ed Atkins led the group on a behind-the-scenes tour of the farm. With more than 40 years in the hop industry, Ed was a wonderful host, sharing his knowledge, stories, and perspective along the way. A special thank you to Ed for making the tour such a memorable experience!

Following the tour, the group stayed at Elk Mountain Farms for a fantastic dinner generously hosted by Anheuser-Busch Anheuser-Busch the perfect way to wrap up a great day.

We’re grateful for the people, partnerships, and shared commitment to research that continue to move the hop industry forward.
