We had the privilege of creating motion graphics for the fantastic and important documentary One Person, One Vote? by the incredible director Maximina Juson. The documentary chronicles the history and complexities behind the Electoral College -- the uniquely American mechanism for electing a president -- as well as the personal experiences of electors from different parties in Colorado during the 2020 election. It was intense producing the explainer animations, bringing clarity to a voting system that is complicated and often misunderstood. The film is now on Independent Lens | PBS and is a must-watch, available on Youtube free for 90 days.

One of two films we worked on screening at the Pan African Film & Arts Festival soon was produced by our friends at FAMM and directed by Wynette Yao called District of Second Chances -- a poignant look at the positive effects of foward-looking "Second Chance" legislation.

Three men who were sentenced in their youth to life in prison have the chance to plead for release, thanks to forward-looking “Second Chance” legislation.

We're thrilled that two films we worked on will be screened this month at the Pan African Film & Arts Festival here in LA. One is the world premiere of "One Person One Vote?" -- an urgent and illuminating look at the Electoral College by incredible director Maximina Juson. It tells the story of not just a political institution that baffles many while profoundly shaping our democracy, but of individual electors and what drives them.

"The Vanishing Trial" is an official selection at the Bronx Social Justice Matters Film Festival Oct. 22-25. The film, produced by FAMM and directed by Wynette Yao, tells the stories of those who exercise their constitutional right to a trial, only to face a longer prison term than originally offered as a plea bargain.
