Putting the focal point of the shot, whether it’s you or a product of yours, towards the edge of the image frame during a photoshoot has more value than you may realize! .co nailed it on my brand shoot 🔥
If your plan is to update your website, or even create some graphics for social media, this dead space allows the designer more freedom and real estate to work with.
✨ Tip: if you have an image that you really want to use but the focal point is taking up most of the image frame, and you have a Pro account, AI can help you with this. Drop the image into a canvas size that matches your intended use (ex: social post or landscape frame) and size the image to the edge of the frame, and you can use the magic expand tool to help fill the space. This is a great plan B if you don’t have any other options, but it’s best to get ahead and consider what you’ll be using the images for when strategizing your photoshoot.
Portrait shots have a place in design as well! But it’s important to have ✨VARIETY✨ in your gallery so there are less design limitations
