I started Island Specialties after a four year hiatus from retail and after my ex-husband closed Harbor Specialties. During my time away, I worked for a reusable bag company, wrote an AmeriCorps grant and after receiving the grant funds, managed the program for a year. My greatest passion is to ensure that every customer is satisfied with there purchase and experience shopping at Island Specialties. My mission is to bring customers gifts that are functional and practical and clothing that is comfortable, and fun to wear; purchased from like minded companies that support their community and our environment.
