“Pushing today to build tomorrow’s future.”

This isn’t just a business to us; it’s our name, reputation, and legacy to build. A legacy, built with intention.

Even if you don’t need our services, we would love to have you follow along our upcoming projects on our social media pages!

How are you showing up for your spouse?

For a long time, I believed I was all in. But looking back, I realize my version of “all in” looked a lot different than it does today.

The truth is, not everyone is designed to be an entrepreneur, and not everyone is designed to be married to one either.

Building a business takes long hours, unpredictable moments, and a deep level of passion, grit, persistence, and hard work.

My version of support used to look like working my day jobs, raising our kids, and helping with the business whenever I had the chance. When the business hit hard seasons or stressful moments, Jon carried most of that weight himself.

At the same time, Jon was always cheering me on in the careers I believed I was building. Looking back now, what we really needed was for me to be fully invested in what we were building together. Have I mentioned that I thought I was?!

Being supportive doesn’t necessarily mean working side by side in the business like we do now. But it does mean your spouse knows you’re standing with them—encouraging them, backing them up, and working as a team rather than pulling in different directions.

So here’s something to think about as the new week begins:

No matter what kind of work you or your spouse do; are you truly showing up for them?

Are you helping move the vision forward—or standing in the way?

My favorite part? Being able to do all of this with my husband by my side as the best teacher, supporter, and encourager as I continue to learn and navigate all that it takes to be an entrepreneur, blue collar woman, and mom, building a legacy, and empowering the next generation!

“Quit waiting for motivation.”

“Motivation isn’t coming. Discipline is the only thing that shows up consistently.”

“You already know what to do. You’re just negotiating with yourself too much.”

“Comfort has been running the show.”

“Do the thing even when you don’t feel like it. No pep talk. No perfect timing. Just action.”

My hustle used to look different.

I had somewhere to be at 8, now it’s sometimes 7am.

I had a time clock waiting for me. Now I have machines (and a shovel) waiting. Usually a husband (patiently) waiting for me too. 😉

I felt like I was halfheartedly doing everything. From corporate, to home life, and entrepreneurship.

My hustle looks different now. Building a legacy alongside my husband and kids. Things I can give my whole to, with purpose, and our future in mind. Even when we are exhausted (blood, sweat, and tears are for real).

The hustle of building a legacy- I’m here for it. 👊🏼

➡️ Lunch dates with my husband
➡️ Getting caught up on office work
➡️ Reading a book
➡️ Picking up the kids early

What a rain day actually is like:

➡️ Phone calls
➡️ Parts runs
➡️ Marketing
➡️ Emails
➡️ Maintenance
➡️ Cleaning vehicles and equipment
➡️ Checking jobsites
➡️ Working at some jobsites

Things I have learned in just 1 week of full time blue collar co-owner on site, and {shovel} operator:

🥾 I need work boots (and women specific work boots are harder to find). Update on what boots I finally chose coming soon!

⬆️ Up is down and down is up?

🌧️ The weather really does predict your day and schedule!

🪏 One minute I’m shoveling, the next minute I’m moving the skidloader, or moving the truck and trailer.

🥵 I didn’t know the full definition of a long, {hard} day.

🏃🏽‍♀️ I didn’t know the full definition of business development, and the hustle behind it all.

❤️ Raising kids in a full time blue collar, entrepreneur home is so tough, but so rewarding! I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Stay tuned as I learn more {every day} as a blue collar entrepreneur with my husband, mompreneur, business development, office manager, marketing, and more! Some day I will add operator to that, but for now, shovels are good with me.

My posts prior to today were coming primarily from the heart. As of today, they are coming from the dirt (and heart). Last Friday, I left my “corporate” job for the last time.

My (random) thoughts from my official Day 1 working right beside Jon:

Now I really understand why he doesn’t respond to texts right away.

Now I really understand why he doesn’t have room to haul the kids everyday in his truck.

Now I really see why blue collar workers are hot, tired, hungry, and thirsty when they get home.

Now I really see what it actually takes to be a quality, precise operator.

Now I really see a glimpse into his day, and what it takes to keep our dreams, goals, business, life, and legacy moving forward.

Thankful for the ability, and the support (and patience, and teaching) from my husband to be able to build this legacy together, in our home, and in the dirt. Let’s go!
