🔥 CABARRUS COUNTY… GET READY! 🔥
Every great event needs a moment that makes people stop, listen, and think a little bigger.
That moment is coming to the Cabarrus County Candidate Showcase on October 13th!
We are honored to announce that Melvin Pillay will be joining us to share an inspiring message about leadership, faith, purpose, perseverance, and what is possible when people refuse to give up on their dreams.
Melvin’s story is extraordinary.
Born into poverty in apartheid-era South Africa, Melvin’s journey eventually took him around the world, and into the worlds of leadership, entrepreneurship, faith, and personal development.
After discovering a Zig Ziglar recording during one of the most difficult seasons of his life, Melvin made a commitment that would change the trajectory of his life:
“Someday I will meet that man.”
He did.
Ultimately, Melvin became one of only eight Ziglar Platinum Speakers and Trainers in the world. Today, he is a bestselling author, internationally recognized speaker, business coach, and advisor who has worked with entrepreneurs, executives, CEOs, leaders, and organizations around the globe.
But this evening will be about more than one inspiring story.
Melvin will be joined by Bob Winstead, a North Carolina business leader and community advocate, for an evening focused on leadership, service, opportunity, and the future of our communities.
Together, they represent two powerful perspectives: one shaped by an extraordinary international journey of perseverance and transformation, and another shaped by years of building businesses, investing in North Carolina, and working to strengthen the communities we call home.
It will be a night filled with hope, faith, perspective, and fire they bring into a room. It will be a night to remember!
This Candidate Showcase isn’t just about politics. It’s about people willing to step forward and serve.
It’s about leadership, community, bringing people together, and believing that the future we leave to our children and grandchildren is worth fighting for.
You are going to want to be in the room.
