This little website may seem simple, but take a look at the "View Guide" link. Therein you will see a publication I designed for Golf Course Superintendents that provides recommendations for environmentally sound and properly cared for golf courses. This guide was created in conjunction with the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA, national and Florida chapters) and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. But if you'd seen the original, you might woder how anyone made it through the first 10 pages. That's where I came in.
A contact at the University of Florida, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS) requested that I create a new version that is visually appealing and easy to follow. This included scores of diagrams, charts, and infographics β all recreated and improved β along with 12 sections of topics. The final job was 260 pages, which I designed cover to cover. While it's visible online here, the guide will soon be printed in book form and distributed to golf courses throughout the state.
