Good Morning Pensacola Fans.

This mornings post is dedicated to my Father. My Father was a lover of flowers and took time and pride in photographing flowers.

Today would have been his 92nd Birthday.

My Dad was an air frame mechanic at NAS Pensacola for 33 years. His hands were battle worn and as strong as any tool you could hold today to get the job done.

Saying this, one of the most tender moments I ever saw my dad in was when a little girl saw him with his white beard and asked if he was Santa Clause. My Dad kneeled down and said very softly said don't tell anyone you saw me. Then he asked if she had been a good girl. She smiled and said I'm trying. My dad said be good for your parents and you will get the one thing you want this year. The little girl mentioned a baby doll. My Father smiled and looked at the mother, the mother smiled at my dad with a tear in her eye.

I miss talking photography with you. Happy Birthday.
