We spent the week away in Pigeon Forge, TN at Applause Talent Dance Competition Nationals to watch my daughter dance and compete. It was a fun week away, and we got to explore Pigeon Forge + Gatlinburg a bit, support my daughter in doing what she loves to do the most, and even got the chance to check out a go-kart track 🏎️
Hayden did an amazing job and placed 4th overall in her trio + won most entertaining act for the day ; her petite age dance group won FIRST with their routine Magic and they are national champs ; she placed 19th overall out of 52 for her solo in the junior age ; and her teen large group placed 2nd overall, won power performance award, and placed 3rd overall in the Best Of The Best 👏🏼
We got to celebrate Waylon’s 5th birthday after he had an allergic reaction and medical scare on our trip. We got to check out dinosaurs at the Island and the Hatfield and McCoy show while away. Yesterday, we went to see Monster Jam to celebrate his whole hand birthday🖐🏼
It was a great week away with family, friends, and our dogs, but it’s back to the grind now😏
And extra good news, I got my work boot back, so I guess there’s no excuses now😜🥾
