If you know me, you know this was a pretty cool moment for me. Walking down the tunnel into Hole 16th at the Phoenix Open was epic!

We had a great time following and geeking out about Golf. Moments like this make me miss the sport.

WZA Day 3 & 4.šŸļø

Never posted anything about the Team Competition so here it is! To be honest, it’s been a while since I’ve had that much fun shooting a competition.

I was a little frustrated at times due to our ā€œmedia access.ā€

Things started clicking when I realized that I can only control what I can control. It’s up to me to make it work.

Can’t wait to be back next year.šŸ¤˜šŸ½

{2023} - a couple of months ago was the first time I thought ā€œtime is moving too fast, you’re getting older, it’s time to chase your dreams harder than ever.ā€

I am turning 30 years old this year. Which is scary but at the same time I’m excited to enter that stage.

It’s scary because I feel like time goes by so quick that I don’t want to waste time; I don’t want to be 33 years old and be doing exactly what I’m doing right now.

For me life is about evolving, and trying different. I don’t like focusing too much in the future though, if I live in the present and do the things I know I have to do– things are going to work out the way I’m visualizing it. I’m big on manifesting my future through my actions and mindset.

That being said, I am really excited about this year. I’m excited to get my podcast started again () and keep connecting, learning, and spreading knowledge.

The best part of our industry is that learning never ends, and we will never be good enough. There are no limits for creators.. the only ceiling is in your mind. Let’s keep inspiring and learning!šŸš€

It was an honor to document Rich’s last two years as a competitor through my cameras. Rich is the reason I started in the sport of CrossFit and having the opportunity to be a part of his media team for the last two seasons still feels like a dream. Thanks for everything you’ve done for our community.

When I was asked to submit a photo for Rich’s retirement post, all I could think was to send a photo of him doing rope climbs. Where it all began.

I thought it was widely known that this year was my final year competing in the team division, but I guess it’s news to many. I’ve had an incredible career to this point as an individual and on a team, from now on whether I compete will be decided on a year to year basis depending on what season of life we’re in and how this old body feels.
Thanks to my amazing wife and the rest of my family for always being in my corner.
Thank you to our family and the rest of the community for lifting us up during competition, you guys are the best fans in all of sports. I’m sure I’ll see you all again on the floor sometime in the future, but until then… Thank you!

Galatians 6:14 ā€œBut as for me, may I never boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.ā€

Today marks 11 years since the day I moved from Venezuela to the USA.

I was 17 years old, just a kid with lots of dreams. Dreams that I knew I wasn’t going to be able to achieve if I stayed in my country.

I moved here by myself, my parents stayed in Venezuela. I remember crying for hours the night before and when I said goodbye to my parents. They knew Venezuela wasn’t going to give me the future I wanted to live.

When I was 13 years old, I got interviewed for a Golf Magazine and one of the questions was ā€œWhat’s your biggest dream?ā€ and my answer was ā€œTo get a scholarship to play NCAA Golf in the US.ā€

Since that moment I never looked back; I wasn’t the best at that time but I had a lot of heart and the unconditional support of my parents.

I attacked that goal like I attack life; taking risks, and always believing I can do it.

Moving to America at 17 gave me the opportunity to show my skills to coaches around the country; when I got a letter from the University of West Florida to do an ā€œofficial visitā€ it felt different than the rest. I remember purposely closing my eyes every night and envisioning that I was signing the Letter of Intent with UWF. It happened, just like I visualized it- with my parents next to me and now with more dreams than ever.

4 years of college golf, a bachelors degree, a masters degree in Business Management, starting my business, my first paycheck, failing several times, falling in love, heart breaks, my dad passing away, failing again, meeting the most awesome friends, traveling the country doing what I love, living what some people call ā€œThe American Dream.ā€

We will always be against the odds. You create your own opportunities and your own future. There will be people that will influence your journey- but at the end of the day, you’re the only one that can get off the couch and beat the odds.

Nobody is ā€œdestined for greatnessā€ but I do believe we are all destined to be great at something and life is about discovering your real purpose in life.

I am forever grateful for this beautiful country, that has given me opportunities that are impossible to get in 99.9% of the world. As I say every year- never take freedom for granted.

Beach Brawl is where everything started for me. Looking back at my early memories of this comp makes me appreciate this moment even more.

6 years ago I was rolling the competition floor until midnight helping with my fam to break down after judging for 3 days.

4 years ago I was reaching out to the owner of the comp begging for a chance to volunteer to take some photos. That was my first year as a part of the Media Team- a rookie that felt that didn’t belong there.

Fast forward to this week, I had the opportunity to operate as a Media Director. More importantly, I had the pleasure put together the awesome team that you see pictured.

Over a dozen of the most talented photographers, videographers, content creators, MCs.

This year, it felt right. This team worked their ass off all weekend long with the same goal in mind. Selflessly helping each other to get through the heat, long days, and exhaustion.

We wanted to tell the story of WHY this is the ā€œfittest beach party in the world.ā€ Everybody that’s a part of this team is hired because of how good we operate together, and how supportive everybody is with each other. Their photography/videography skills are a bonus.

I am extremely grateful to be a part of this family. I am grateful to be able to share these moments and memories with them.

I could probably spend 2 more hours writing about every single member of the team. ā€œProudā€ is an understatement.

I’ll end this post with sharing one of the craziest feelings I’ve ever experienced. Saturday night we were grilling out at the Airbnb. I looked around and I see around 20 people, everybody having a good time, singing, dancing, talking.. we were all connected with the same energy. I started feeling this urge of crying and my buddy Frank stops and tells me something along the lines of ā€œI’m proud of you, you did this. You should be proud.ā€ and those are the moments that make me look back to where we all start. From ground zero with dreams and goals; dreams that often feel unrealistic.. but always with the thought of ā€œI know I can if I pour my soul into it.ā€ Doubts, frustration, countless mistakes.. it’s all a part of the journey.

On to the next one.

Just happy to have all my friends in the same place, at my favorite beach, during the most fun week of the year.šŸšŸ“ø:

Latest work for x // Release of the ā€œBlue Razz Slushieā€ and ā€œMint Chocolate Chipā€ flavors.

I’ve been actually using PODIUM products since the beginning of the year and I love them. Definitely would recommend to try them out!
