Why four eight? Philippians 4:8 says, “And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.” ✨ This verse hosts a beautiful list of the things in life to focus on. We must first take our thoughts captive, then focus on these things. Not only do I strive to keep what is lovely and admirable on my mind, but will strive to bring all EIGHT of these characteristics into my work and relationships.
