In October 2013, I gave birth to my son Lukas. As far as we knew he was supposed to be healthy. Soon after we learned he had a rare disorder known as VACTERL. After numerous hospitalizations I decided I wanted to do something to help bring smiles to kids in the hospital. Stitching steps was created with the mission to donate our profits to make items for sick chi

ldren whether is be a cancer diagnosis or a kid preparing for surgery, we have donated to several varieties of situations. In our first year we made over 20 donations which were made possible by our customers.
