My friend Laurie owns Pecan Street Market in downtown Pflugerville. Go stop by West Pecan Coffee + Beer and get a coffee and then do some shopping at Pecan Street Market. Super cute stuff!! This are just a few photos of her goodies. She even has baby clothes! She is also a florist and her arrangements are gorgeous!

Most of you have probably figured out that I am not doing photography anymore. But I wanted to give a better explanation for why. Five and a half years ago, my husband started having severe headaches and they went from occasional to frequent and then to daily for the past 2 years. Plus he had other symptoms develop too. This has been the hardest road we've ever walked. This spring he was diagnosed with occipital neuralgia and last week, he finally had surgery to decompress the nerves causing the pain. Praise Jesus! It was a total God thing on how we came to get this diagnosis and treatment.

Through it all, God was so faithful and we have learned so much about persevering and finding joy in the midst of trauma and pain. But it also about broke me. Seriously.

If you are struggling through a season of suffering, grief or chronic pain, please let me know so I can pray for you. If you are a caregiver for someone, let me know, so I can pray and be a listening ear. No one knows what it is like to walk a hard road like this unless you have gone through it yourself. I have felt all the emotions and asked all the questions and didn't always handle the stress and emotions in the best way so I certainly understand wherever you are in the process. Just know you have someone you can talk to!

Hi friends!
I am not going to be offering any fall sessions this year due to some serious health issues of my husband (not Covid). If you already have a session booked or have purchased a package that includes future sessions, I will be available for those. I am sad to not get to see you and your sweet families, but this is something I need to do. I am still working at the Georgetown Palace Theatre as the Marketing Manager, so come see me at one of our outdoor events this fall. Stay safe and love to you all!
