According to UTRGV Athletics, he pitched for the Broncs during 1989 season. Good to see a fellow UTPA alumni’s winning it all at on college baseball highest stage!

I wanted to make sure I found a local IPA while hanging out in DC so I hit up a local bodega.

Nice clerk pointed me to Steady Eddie by UNION Craft Brewing which sits at 7% ABV Wheat IPA that finishes with a drinkable crisp honey malt without harsh bitterness.

Always trust the neighborhood bodega clerk since the BeerAdvocate reviews explained the recommendation.

Bodega is the equivalent of tienditas here in the RGV.

Austin Beerworks Fire Eagle American IPA 🦅 🍺

Discovered this gem while picking up some laughs at Cap City Comedy Club - Austin.

Big Citrus and pine flavors hits perfectly with a 7.3% ABV, it’s potent so beware so dale calmado.

Definitely a top tier Texas brew👌🏾

Kicks off with absolute action and clearly explains what Mandalorian bounty hunter is really all about.

Also dives into Jabba the Hutt’s bloodline was a massive win for Star Wars fans.

Went to H-E-B for groceries and end up picking up this bad boy. A single 19.2oz Axis IPA from Real Ale Brewing Company.

At 7.1% ABV, esta güera si pega with a passion fruit, berry and citrus bitterness. 🍺🎯

Scary Movie 6 (2026)

Planned a nostalgic Scary Movie 6 date night to tap into that 20 year old behavior just to realize that dispensary bud has gotten more potent since the early 2000s.

Loved the throwback vibes but missing more of that high-grade punch comedy. 😃 🍿🎞️

⚠️ Proceed with caution if you tap into those 20yr old tendencies.

Hoppers (2026)

Tried to take a nap with the TV on but stayed awake for the plot. Mabel definitely grabbed my attention.

As I quote the Bird King this is a case of “flap around and find out” 🦫 🪵🥥
