A C Corp is another legal entity that protects the owners’ personal assets from liability. 💪🏾⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The C Corp’s ability to offer stock options is one of the biggest advantages to this type of entity. This allows a business to sell smaller pieces of equity in the company to increase cash flow and growth opportunities. This is used by venture capitalists & other investors. 💵 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A disadvantage for the C Corp is the fact that it gets taxed at a corporate level, which means it is subject to “double taxation”. 🧾⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This game not much different than any other one. Get your capital upfront, make a solid investment, & pay it back with some on top. 💯

Hard money loans usually require 15%-20% of the entire real estate project (acquisition + rehab) and have anywhere to 1-2 years to pay back the loan with very HIGH interest rates. Short-term loan! 🏦🏚🏡

Once your project is complete, investors usually use proceeds from the sale of the home or refinance the property to pull money out for the repayment. 🏠 💵

Either way, hard money loans are a great way to get into the real estate game if you have a good deal & makes using the BRRRR strategy super easy! 👌🏽

Are you looking to officially LLC your business but don’t know exactly how to do it? 🤔

Well here’s a step-by-step list of how to do it! Although some states are uniques in the process a bit, generally though this is the case in most states across the U.S.

1. Pick a name for your LLC. You will utilize your state’s business name search database to verify the name you have chosen isn’t already in use.

2. Appoint a registered agent. A registered agent is the individual responsible for receiving documentation on behalf of the business.

3. File a Certificate of Organization. Sometimes also called an Articles of Incorporation, this is the officially document registering your business as a LLC with your state of residence.

4. Prepare an operating agreement. This is the document written out & kept between members of the LLC outlining the rules & how the business will be ran.

5. Apply for your EIN. Obtain you Employer Identification Number from irs.gov

6. Make sure you obtain any local licenses or registrations necessary for your business to be in full compliance as well. make sure to do your homework!

And there it is, now you have legitimately started your own business! Hopefully this helps you on your way to financial freedom! 💵
