Philly Technology Ambassadors A platform connecting technology savvy and community minded students with neighborhood small busines

Philly Tech Ambassadors (PTA) is an initiative of the Global Enterprise Hub, a small business development program of the Welcoming Center for New Pennsylvanians. This initiative connects ambassadors – who are technology-savvy, community minded and problem solving college students from different universities across the city of Philadelphia with Philly’s small businesses (such as Drexel University,

University of Pennsylvania, Temple University, and Philadelphia Community College, among others). Our Tech Ambassadors teach small businesses on how to become more present online, get found on Google Search and Maps, build websites, and use social media marketing to promote their business, and to be ranked highly on search engines. Philly Tech Ambassadorship provides opportunities for students to gain practical experience from entrepreneurs and learn a few things about operating a small business in America. PTA is preparing these young students to become professionals by giving them opportunities to provide one-on-one consulting services to small businesses.
