Want to make your own wine? You can at in Montgomeryville! 🍷📣

Wine making at Stone & Key Cellars involves the following wine making steps:
🍇 Crushing - utilizing the Crusher/Destemmer to crush the grapes and remove the stem. This is happening now!
🍇 Pressing - approximately 2 weeks after crushing. A grape press squeeze the wine from the skins and seeds. Also happening now!
🍇 Barrel tasting - generally in late January and February.
🍇 Blending session - you determine the final blend by blind tasting 3 wines that the winemaker prepares.
🍇 Bottling - filling, corking, and labeling.

It’s not too late to get in on the action above in the first few steps! ⚡️ Their last major shipment of grapes just arrived. 🍇🛻💨

The winemaking process is an individualized experience for each person/group. You'll get to see firsthand what it's like to be a winemaker from beginning to end!

P.S. Another way to make wine at Stone & Key Cellars in a more social setting is the Quarter Barrel Club (QBC)! 🍷The QBC produces six different barrels of premium wines made from the very best Washington and California grapes. As a member of QBC, you’d get one case of each of these six premium wines at a fantastic price. 🤩 As the QBC wine progresses, they’ll announce dates for pressings, barrel tastings, and bottling events. Each step in the process is fun and social, and you get to choose when (and whether) to participate. Their expert winemakers lead the charge, ensuring high-quality results and allowing you to focus on having fun. 🥳

.la.martina.philly is hosting a Día de Los Mu***os Celebración de La Vida tomorrow, Wednesday, November 2nd from 4-10pm, and the whole community is invited! 🎉

This event will include:
🎸 Live music from Mariachi Ángeles (a local traditional Mexican folk band)
🕺 Ñuxacum (Baile Folclórico - traditional dancers)
💃 Appearances by Catrina la Martina (the most recognizable symbol of Día de Los Mu***os).
👯‍♀️ A best-dressed Catrina contest (wear your Catrina costume to participate!)
❤️ Celebración de La Vida (a ceremony to celebrate the lives of loved ones lost. Cantina la Martina welcomes the community to bring pictures and memorabilia of their loved ones who have passed to put on their ofrenda [altar] for the Celebración de La Vida ceremony. You can come to the restaurant any time to drop off photos or bring them to the event.)

The full Cantina la Martina food and beverage menu will be available to order, as well as food specials like a few of the ones pictured. 🦗🌮🐍 This event will also be the official launch of Cantina la Martina’s new fall beverage menu. 👀 🍹

And, YES, they will have the World Series game on! ⚾️ They will even have it playing on a big projector!!! 📽❤️

Seating for Día de Los Mu***os is indoors and outdoors. Guests are welcome to walk in and enjoy the celebration without a reservation, but reservations are strongly encouraged (and almost gone!) if you want to sit down.
