Usually we are very behind the scenes when it comes to events but we were so proud to be able to come out to the and support and the Philadelphia community. Being able to see all of the signage in place and participate in the event was incredible. It was amazing to have the opportunity to work with Rodney and Natasha and COF. You’re work is truly impacting the community and we are so proud to be a part of it!

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH 🏳️‍🌈 🏳️‍⚧️

Here at Staples, we believe Pride isn’t just a monthly occurrence. It's a spirit and way of being that should be acknowledged and celebrated all year round. We believe that when our associates can bring their whole selves to work, they can accomplish anything - which is why we’ve launched a number of internal initiatives for our team to help them do just that.

Over the last year, we:
🌈 Held our first Pride Associate panel
🌈 Launched pronouns in email signatures
🌈 Launched our new Pride @ Staples Business Resource Group
🌈 Launched Gender Affirmation benefits, which will help those who are transitioning embody their authentic selves

In addition to these initiatives, we are excited to celebrate Pride this month with our associates who identify and allies alike. This June we will be holding a number of events and educational resources for our associates and sharing some of those experiences here - so stay tuned!

Our internal work is far from done, but we hope these efforts get us closer to making ALL our LGTBQ2S+ staff and community feel safe and welcomed at Staples not just today, but all throughout the year. Happy Pride!
