Structure and Form is pleased to promote Mari Elaine Lamp as an affiliated service provider!

Mari Elaine and I (Morgan) have known each and worked together for over 10 years! We are both former members of AUTOMAT and PAFA alums.

M.E. brings social media expertise that will enhance what S+F can provide. She's serious about supporting artists while staying active in contemporary art dialogue, and she follows current trends and analysis of the everchanging algorithm. I'm excited to work closely with her and bring her into my conversations with new and existing clients. Her insights and focused specialties will bring S+F Marketing Strategy to the next level.

If you would like to have a consultation with her, please reach out through the S+F email [email protected] or directly to Mari Elaine ~ [email protected]

A lot of what S+F offers could be placed under the category of Project Management. While I provide specific insights and skills in website design, different forms of writing and marketing, curation, etc, I'm also happy to hire a specialist where needed and coordinate others in conjunction with my work to see a project to the finish line. Here are projects from the past 5 years that were logistically complex and required collaboration with multiple others to complete.

Know someone who needs help like this?? Share this post with them! 🥰

1: Equinox at Millersville University, 2025: a 9 artist group exhibition that included artists from 6 different locations across the country.
2: (re)Focus 2024 - Fortitude at 50 at Gross McCleaf Gallery, 2024: Elizabeth Johnson and my curatorial contribution to a city-wide celebration of women and BIPOC artists. I pulled from Gross McCleaf's archive to present materials from their 50 year history before organizing and submitting the archive to the Philadelphia Historical Society.
3: Palm Beach Art Show with Gross McCleaf Gallery, 2023: an art fair in Palm Beach, Florida with art moving, installation and promotional complexities.
4: Commission by Elaine Lisle and installation of Kurt Moyer's painting with a corporate collection near Philadelphia.
5: My first sculptural installation with VSOP Projects at the Hamptons Art Fair, 2022. I was on a plane to Italy while the work was being installed and had made maps and diagrams for VSOP to reassemble the work.
6: During the pandemic, the artist-run galleries in the 319 building collaborated on multiple initiatives to keep things active during the restrictions. I worked with members of Grizzly Grizzly, Marginal Utility, Practice and Pink Noise to launch the Artist-in-Residence program across the 2nd floor spaces.
7. Another floor-wide project at 319 was hosting the PAFA MFA class of 2020 who boycotted their thesis exhibitions after PAFA's HR dept restricted staff affiliations on BLM petitions.

Time to reintroduce myself (S+F website update also coming soon!)

Hey, I’m Morgan, an independent arts administrator working with artists and arts organizations. I’m based in Kansas City, Missouri, but have clients across the United States and in the UK!

I’m a practicing artist with experience managing commercial and artist-run galleries, curating and jurying exhibitions, applying for grants and calls, and so much more. While I’m not a marketing specialist, I have coordinated online promotions, built websites, and organized social media campaigns. I recently received a Web Design Certificate from Temple University and continue to develop my skill set to better serve my clients.

If you’re an artist or arts organization in need of project assistance or ongoing part-time support, please reach out for a consultation! I’d love to hear about your needs and discuss how I can help (links in bio!)

Structure and Form is turning 1! With the clients’ permission, I’m sharing several projects from our first year in business!

Next is Emily Quinn ()! Based in Kansas City, Emily’s works depict the complex social realities shared by those living in a feminine body. She uses a large collection of antique figurines to create paintings and photographs that straddle areas of still-life, narrative and portraiture. Recently, she has expanded her use of the figurines, casting them in resin and wax to create eerie double figures and portraits as seen in the first photo below.

Structure and Form helped Emily through a few drafts of written text as she hustles for an upcoming solo exhibition. I loved getting to know her and her work! Check out her website for more information (link in bio)! Thank you, Emily!

Structure and Form is turning 1!

With the clients’ permission, I’m sharing several projects from the first year of business! The next featured client is Hoch LTD. () Founded by Kyle Hoch in 2021, Hoch LTD. provides auction, appraisal, estate and advisory services. S+F works with the Hoch LTD. team in preparation for each auction by editing photos of their many incredible objects on consignment. Hoch LTD. focuses on fine art and antiques with some surprises mixed in - records, books, posters, jewelry, etc.

The first photo came from one of my favorite recent sales that included some North American indigenous artists, ceramicist Matthew Metz (second photos), and Daniel Strawser Jr Pennsylvania German folk artist (third and fourth photo). Unfortunately that auction has concluded, but check out their website (link in bio) if you’d like to add some truly unique objects to your collection.

Thank you Kyle and Hoch LTD for being a part of the first year of S+F. It’s great working with you and seeing the beautiful things you sell.
