Being an American these days feels both sweet and sour.

Some days I'm disappointed. Some days I'm incredibly proud. And while politics often dominate the conversation, I want to focus on something that gives me hope.

As a small business owner, I've experienced the kindness of this country through the people. I've found a community that supports me, celebrates my wins, cheers me on, and reminds me why I chose to build my dream here.

That's what I choose to hold onto today.
